16 October, 2012 – Avalon Document Services, an industry leader in eDiscovery and litigation support services, announces that Jason Schroeder has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Legal Technology. He will be responsible for all operations relating to the legal technology division, including data processing and electronic discovery. With 16 years experience in all phases of litigation case management and litigation technology, Schroeder has a proven track record of effectively deploying strategies while coordinating cases for attorneys as well as legal technology vendors.

Schroeder joins Avalon from Hodgson Russ, LLP,Buffalo’s largest law firm, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of electronic discovery for the past six years. Prior to his time there, Schroeder served as a Paralegal for the Boston-based law firm Lawson & Weitzen, LLP. Additionally, he spent five years managing Criminal Law, Claims, and Legal Assistance departments for the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corp, both in theUnited StatesandEurope.

Jason studied English and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He resides in Buffalo, NY.
