DOCUMENT SPECIALIST – SYRACUSE



Title: Document Specialist

Work Schedule: Dedicated shift, minimum of 40 hours. Hours will vary based on client demand and team member coverage as needed.

Positions Available:

  • Entry Level, Full Time, Evening Shift, Monday – Friday

Major Function and Purpose: A document specialist supports the daily operations of copy production, print production, scanning and finishing work. A document specialist is mainly responsible to produce client requested work in the most efficient and profitable manner possible while always exceeding expectations and meeting client deadlines.

Supervisor: Production Manager

Supervises: None

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce client requested projects while following all production SOPs
  • Manage projects in a timely manner so production deadlines can be met
  • Learn to operate and maintain all production equipment
  • Properly track all job totals so billing can be accurate
  • Quality control projects to ensure desired results
  • Communicate to Production Manager supply or equipment needs
  • Communicate project issues with Production Manager so they can be handled appropriately
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client materials
  • Assist in office to office meet ups when required
  • Keep production area in tour condition at all times
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times without exception
  • Positive attitude towards other team members, clients and vendors at all times

Qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities needed:

  • Basic math and computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of Adobe software is preferred
  • Great communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for producing quality work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • High school equivalent or better

PRODUCTION MANAGER – CLEVELAND



Title: Production Manager

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Evening Shift, minimum of 40 hours. Hours will vary based on client demand and team member coverage as needed.

Major Function and Purpose: The production manager runs the production floor during his/her shift. He/She coordinates and manages all project deadlines on the shift while communicating with the sales and service teams as necessary. The production manager ensures projects are being completed on time and without errors.

Supervisor: Director of Production

Supervises: Document Specialists

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce projects as needed to accomplish deadlines
  • Manage all final checks on projects before they leave production
  • Receive all rush calls from sale and service teams
  • Delegate projects appropriately to production team
  • Work with director of production and doc specialists to orchestrate interoffice meet ups
  • Set and communicate goals for document specialists / track with quarterly progress reports
  • Communicate individual project questions and concerns with sales and service teams
  • Planroom setup
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards other team members, clients, and vendors at all times
