Deborah Jillson, Avalon’ Chief Executive Officer, is known for her consultative, client-centric leadership style, rooted in teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning. She brings more than two decades of leadership experience in legal technology, financial services IT, and high-growth service organizations. Deborah consistently delivers strong revenue results by deeply understanding client needs, designing tailored technical and data solutions, and expanding into new markets. Her proficiency leading sales, business development, and service delivery teams, combined with her holistic approach to delivering defensible, efficient, and scalable technology solutions, uniquely positions her to guide Avalon into the future.
Lew Airth
Chief Operating Officer
Lew Airth, Chief Operating Officer, brings a deep operational acumen and process-driven leadership style to Avalon’s senior management team. Since joining the company in 2008 as Director of Graphics, Lew has applied his expertise in workflow optimization, production efficiency, and cross-functional team alignment to elevate service delivery across the organization.
Promoted to Vice President of Production in 2010, he led a comprehensive restructuring of the production department, introducing scalable systems and performance metrics that continue to drive quality and on-time execution. Today, Lew oversees all facets of operations, leveraging data, technology, and strategic planning to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Jennifer Dolan, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Dolan, CPA, brings more than 26 years of experience in finance and accounting to Avalon. Before joining the team, she built an extensive career in public accounting, beginning as an auditor and progressing into firm administration, including serving as CFO.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has developed deep expertise in financial strategy, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. She is passionate about aligning financial strategy with organizational goals to create lasting value.
Bob DeStefanis
Senior Vice President of Sales
Bob DeStefanis is Avalon’s Senior Vice President of Sales. He joined the Avalon team in 2017 through an acquisition of C:DOX LLC, where he and co-owner Marty Bohn successfully ran the business for 12 years. Bob has more than 25 years of experience in the document management industry, and is known for his energetic, hands-on, lead-by-example managerial style. He believes that relationships with customers rely upon more than just a simple, one-time transaction, and that they lead to partnerships. Bob is focused on collaborative team building and commitment to exceeding client expectations.
Katie Martoche
Chief of Staff
Katie Martoche is the Chief of Staff for Avalon, coordinating strategic initiatives that ensure alignment across the organization. Katie’s focus is on connecting people, ideas, and resources while helping the CEO focus on strategic priorities. Since joining Team Avalon in 2021 Katie has provided high-level administrative support to the senior leadership team as the Executive Assistant, Integration Manager, and now Chief of Staff. Prior to joining Avalon, Katie was an experienced leader in the higher education industry serving in roles in both academic and student affairs, most recently as a Title IX Coordinator, Director of Career Development, and interim Dean of Students.
Jason Schroeder
Vice President of Professional Technical Operations
Jason Schroeder is Vice President of Professional Technical Operations and brings 20+ years of experience in litigation support and document-related technologies to our team. While he began his career running printing presses for United Media comics, he soon moved into a law firm where he launched their internal scanning/imaging department. Later in his career, he moved back to the vendor side, where his background in technology helped him transform a traditional printing company into one that offered additional litigation support services like scanning and eDiscovery.
Jenna Dulak
Vice President of Information Technology
Jenna Marie Dulak, Ph.D. is an accomplished IT leader with more than 15 years of experience driving innovation and operational excellence across corporate and nonprofit organizations. Her expertise includes strategic technology leadership, security and compliance, systems administration, and organizational transformation, with a strong focus on team development and aligning technology with organizational goals. She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy from Niagara University, along with master’s degrees from St. Bonaventure University and Rochester Institute of Technology, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Tony Valencia
Vice President of Human Resources
Tony Valencia is Vice President of Human Resources at Avalon, bringing more than 30 years of HR leadership experience, including over 13 years in legal services and eDiscovery. He specializes in aligning people strategy with business growth, operational performance, and organizational transformation. Since joining Tower Legal Solutions in 2013, Tony has played a key role in building and integrating HR operations through Avalon’s acquisition of Tower. His expertise includes leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational design, and culture transformation.
